Well I'm failing apart without you I'm falling apart at the seems Well I go crazy when I'm not with you I'm shooting myself in my dreams Cos' I'm not a stable man If I'm shooting myself in my dreams Well you can tell everyone who's waiting I'll soon be on my way I gotta tie up these loose ends and finish but I'd sooner leave today cos' I'm not a stable man just listen to what I say I'm gonna tell you a story a beauitul story of love I gave my girl an image as perfect as heaven above but I' spoke to soon and wrecked it not I'm just missunderstood Well now we all have something we're guitly of something from our past I'm not a saint nomatter what I show you I don't really ever grasp cos' I'm not a stable man don't think I was built to last You can almost see the scars where I cut a hole in my chest tried to let my body breathe exorcise the demons at rest cos' they're eating me from in my woul when your face shows no interest Now I'm floating on without you floating down rivers and streams but when the water turns from blue to red a nightmare is what it seams cos' I'm not a stable man if I'm shooting myself in my dreams

Down the darkened hall past my picture on the night-stand framed for glory even got the key to this old land Ain't no dream when you're letting go no this ain't no dream of mine no dreams of mine Chorus: But it's not easy when you're growing older ain't got time left on your side It's not easy when you're going nowhere ain't got ties left hard to bind And all the times are deceiving you and your memories are just leaving you and it's time, oh it's time Down the stairs, stand on the porch stare on my escape a 1340 red with flames even got my own private plate But it ain't no dream when you're letting go no, this ain't no dreams of mine no dreams of mine (Chorus) It ain't no dreams when you're letting go no this ain't no dreams of mine no dreams of mine

Sexshaker 03:18
I got a sixty nine shovel got a suped up Coupe de Ville I got a sixy nine shovel got a suped up Coupe de Ville I got all things around me but I just couldn't buy my thrill Well the moons on the rise baby sun's setting over the hill The moon's on the rise the sun's setting over the hill I got all these things around me but I just couldn't buy my thrill Chorus: Cos' if the sex don't feel right now anymore I'm in the doghouse every night sleeping on the floor Well if the sex don't feel right then baby what are you for? Well you're sitting over there baby looking like you don't care Oh you're sitting over there baby looking like you don't care Come on over baby just try to show me life can be fair Well I'm holding out for change waiting for my time to come I'm holding out for change baby waiting for my time to come Say something soon or I might just pick up and run (Chorus)

Milktrain 03:22
I take the blue line baby cross the bridge to freedom town the sun is shining leave a memory of when I was down But will anyone notice where this man has gone do I really care cos' I know their light has shone I stayed up all night drinking out a bottle of soap hanging out the window on a ten year old blue frayed rope and if I fall down to the ground there I'll meet the devil and make a better sound Now these blue days fade I'm on the train of hope a trip on Intercity with my ticket in an envelope And if I find that times are never the same I'll just come home, on the freedom train Well I'm coming to you baby I'm coming to the dream a trip on Intercity wishing on strawberries and cream And if I find that times are never the same I'll just come home, on the freedom train And if I find that times are never the same I'll just come home, on that freedom train

Don't reach down don't look round the fire burns tables turned And I can fall for you more and each breathe that I draw just brings me down And in the fabric of time stares a lonely face I'm moving closer to the fire don't know what it is that I will face but I will learn sooner or later For there are times when even the cry of the wind rolling by can't find a voice to sing And in the fabric of time stares a lonely face I'm moving closer to the fire don't know what it is that I will face but I will learn sooner or later
6.
WAR 03:22
Watch your castle burn wait thile tables turn proud Mary nothing left to learn Horses charge into the war the Friar preaches to the poor come rain I will be no more And I saw an angel cry it was nothing more than the light streaming dreams before my eyes And nothing but the world gone wrong hang your dreams in paintings for soon they will be gone And the storm will rage again the walls thunder, like the voice beyond calls lightening, come down I rage as the torent falls And I saw an angel cry it was nothing more than the light streaming dreams before my eyes And nothing but the world gone wrong Hang your dreams in paintings for soon they will be gone

Home 02:21
They're fading out the faces soon cards are gonna replace us there's nowhere to go except dark and lonely places I'm heading out on the fourth some place up north get me to the boarder then know-one gonna chase me home Chorus: Home is where the heart is leaving all the solace and the left-handed artwork depicting Poca Hontis It was I who shot dead the moon blame it on the Zepelin bloon lighting up the hostory books something wrong with the wiring loom I forgot to notice countdown before explosive get me to the shelter then know-one gonna chase me home (Chorus) Smoking at the red light it was I who shot dead the night something to remember salute when you're facing right Soldier on parade just waiting to invade has the cat got your tongue or will you follow him all the way down (Chorus) Home is where the heart is leaving all the solace and the left-handed artwork depicting Poco Huntis Can't find the screwball looking for a knew fool don't believe the stories just a bunch of Jack O'nories

Doghouse 03:44
Well I've been down the railroad a thousand times before I've been down the railroad a thousand times before I've been shot at, I've been kicked at I've been left for dead on the floor Well I went down Big Red and I got myself a beer I went down Big Red and I got myself a beer When a voice so sweet came and whispered in my ear She said.... Chorus: You're in the doghouse baby got three strings on your guitar You're in the doghouse baby got three strings on your guitar When you're down and out know-one gives a fuck who the hell you are Well they locked me up but my jailhouse bail was paid Said they locked me up but my jailhouse bail was paid For ten years or more the love of a good woman is all I craved Yeah I got a bitch on the loose she just wont toe the line I got a bitch on the loose she just wont toe the line She treats me line shit but at least that bitch is mine (Chorus)

I wake up in the day and I wonder whats coming when the sun passes shaddows beyond take it all for granted Enjoy where you're sleeping cos' you know it wont last long Climb the steps up to the place where people say this is where we should be seen, but glory comes easy you don't believe me, you just think you know where i've been Separate time from the clocks that I'm watching regardless of here or now sometimes we're dreamers other times bleeders just waiting for the artist to bow More tears are flowing that smiles are showing everyday comes at a price when the fur feels much better than skin on black leather but it sure feels as cold as the ice What new hell, pressure on the egg shell as still as the shaddow, with blood in my eyes Press play and witness what the world is going to give you before you can even think warships and bombers, snow in the summer start swimming or we'll just sink The raindrops falling, by the window sleeping the truth beyond all my dreams saddened by the words spoke headlines for the sorry eyes to read My lonely stitches through the seams Sunrise comes and dances on queen appear before both my eyes a vision of beauty to close, I wish Left there with supprise four tears in my eyes separate time from the ties One more murder and I'll bring it all down for yourself I got nothing for pitty, I got nothing for hate I got nothing for your shallow self-esteme Sometimes the pen beats the hand all flowing with sentiment to bare a loved one sleeps softly with thoughts of loss I'm standing right there You know Again another crash-light two storey sleeping they lay beyong bleeding I just wish today was yesterday and the battle of which lies I was choosing to believe in I for one I got nothing to loose I'm finding out and breaking free in my powder blue leather pinned mohair noose Displaying mysery to all My demons creep whenever I'm down can't help it's just what I am hidden far from beyond what I think I am I dance with my angel Wrecking ball swings with the crumbs from the pigs feed I can't hide away my sadness for a future that became Everything's easier when only thoughts of love are free Finish off with a sip, the cans gone flat this is it, another cigarette Finnish is off, heads gone weary, climb into you Weekend looms, I got a new toy don't know what I'm feeling, wait til tomorrow my angel sleeps, whispers in her ear Candles almost out, silence is heaven to my ear I'll be broken when I think what I couldn't hear And I know that I will destiny trembles just like the thrill Boom! Are you ready for the fight

I remember a time when everything was cheap now I can't even close my eyes to go to sleep When I do my head spins round trying to think of ways to make a pound all this, is weighing down on my soul Do you notice whenever you walk into town prices they just knock you down to the ground this country is bleeding us dry enough to make me sit in the rain and cry all this, is weighting down on my soul Chorus: Well tonight, I'm gonna search out my soul yeah tonight, I'm gonna search out my soul I had enough of scraping a life gonna leave this town on a train tonight gonna weigh up the pro's and the cons and listen to the voice inside who knows And somehow try and free up my soul (Chorus)

Exile 04:32
Down the stairs stand in the dark shackled feet and a bruised hear Ain't nothing more that I can do but accept this fate of mine As I sit here behind the wall a life with a name in pieces on the floor Chorus: I know this ain't your idea of heaven nor what you dreamed of as a child but it's all that I can give it's all that I go in me See the house there on the hill paint all cracked on the bars on the window Well that's home for a little while ain't nothing more I can do As I sit here and count the time count the hours, the minutes the seconds rolling by (Chorus) Why don't you tear these walls I can breathe and I can fall but I can soar As I sit here and count the time count the hours, the minutes the seconds rolling by I know this ain't your idea of heaven nor what you dreamed of as a child there ain't no heaven here nor glory just a little faith in this heart of mine And it's all that I can give it's all that I got in me
12.
I see a smile through a shadow on a Sunday morning Awake yes still tired blood eyes and yarning The bottle lyes as still as me I'm as sick as my nicotine fingers but I hear you calling I hear you calling Chorus: I promise I'll be hear waiting growing old and aching and as the sun beats down on a brand new day No I wont let you no I wont let you melt through my hands like an ice cream Jesus Words fail to move a drunken dreamer I could fall for you but I'm a non-believer They say you are the only one I don't believe you're the fallen son but I hear you calling I hear you calling (Chorus) And the fire says it all no more than the words and I'm fading here without as love lyes bleeding No more death and glory fading out (Chorus)

'The Dandy Punk Prince' is the 3rd album from Tensheds, and features his new line-up of piano and drums.

Recorded at Leicester Square Theatre, London and his Sussex Square HQ in Brighton, Tensheds along with engineer and co producer Simon Kitts pushed at the very boundaries of a 'typical Piano Album'. Using Prepared Piano Techniques, amps and pedals, the pair transformed a near 200 year old grand piano into what you hear on this record.

It is testament to Tensheds' creative process and work ethic that throughout all 12 tracks, no other instruments appear on this record (except harmonica). In fact he actually told his engineer Simon that "if a sound is not recorded on that piano, it's not going on the album".

Struggling to classify his new music, Tensheds instead coined this genre smashing, classical infused musical style "21st Century Blues".

"This may well be his masterpiece" - Fatea-Records

The Days Of My Confinement

Behind the large black studded Victorian door that separated me from the eerily empty streets, I decided to write. I threw myself into this body of work. It became my whole world. My one self. Through this stillness of time and with silence of the wind, my musings turned into song.
